iHowz can trace its roots back to 1974 when a group of landlords in Brighton banded together to represent their views with the local council. Now the same council turns to the association to help formulate its plans.
We were created to represent landlords’ views at central and local Government whilst offering landlord support to private residential landlords.
iHowz will always campaign for the good of the PRS and for more than 50 years have undertaken many campaigns to represent our members and the wider PRS. These have included central government primary legislation, local authorities and other authorities and regulators, with advice from barristers and other professionals, resulting in successful amendment, judicial reviews and appeals to secure fairer regulation for our members.
If required, we continue to take a robust opposition to any proposals, but prefer to discuss and negotiate to secure fairer regulation which balances the rights of landlords and their tenants.
